B) Responsibilities within the production process

To be able to do this job, I'd have to be able to think of ideas for a game, think about how different types of games and styles would work and communicate it to my team. I think I would like to do this job as I like to come up with lots of different ideas. However, transferring my ideas and explaining them properly might be a little difficult. But overall I think I would enjoy this role and be useful in it. I'd choose this as my role 1 out of 4. (1 Being the one I'd want to do the most)

Programmer

A programmer designs and writes computer code for the game. This is one of the core components of making a game.

B) Responsibilities within the production process

Without the code, the game can't function. The code is used to determine how character and objects move and react with other characters and objects. To be able to do this role, I'd need to know how to use coding software such as C, & C++. I will also have to have experience in other game areas, like different types of consoles and their hardware. I'd have to have experience of gameplay too. I could be good at this job as I have the experience of playing games and games on different consoles. I'm used to most and different hardware and consoles. For example Playstation, Xbox and Nintendo Switch/Wii/U. I wouldn't mind doing this role, however, I've worked with code before and it could get quite stressful. Also, I haven't used the software in a while so I'd be a little inexperienced. I'd choose this as my role 3 out of 4. (1 Being the one I'd want to do the most)

Game Artist

A games artist makes and creates designs for characters, props and other parts of the game. They need to make storyboards and art concepts.  They mostly work in pre-production and make sure there's lots of planning.

Depending on the type of game, the artist has to work with whatever the theme is, so if it's high-quality 3D models or a stylized 2D game they have to be able to plan and make designs for either. Which means they need experience with software like Maya and Photoshop. I could be good at this job as I have experience in Photoshop and a little in Maya. I feel I can be quite creative however it can be difficult to translate my ideas into art/usable planning. I'd choose this as my role 2 out of 4. (1 Being the one I'd want to do the most)
